Pemberian Cashback dalam Aplikasi Dompet Digital OVO Perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Syariah

Abstract

This study discusses Cashback Provision in the OVO Digital Wallet Application from the Perspective of Sharia Economic Law. This study aims to determine the mechanism for giving cashback in the OVO digital wallet application, to determine the response to giving cashback to users in the OVO digital wallet application and to analyze the cashback application in the OVO digital wallet application in the perspective of Sharia Economic Law. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research that focuses on providing cashback in digital wallet applications. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, this research data is processed through editing, organizing, and analyzing. Then the research data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the public as users of the OVO digital wallet do not read the terms and conditions of the OVO application before registering, then until now Indonesia does not have special rules regarding the protection of personal data and there are no sanctions that can provide a deterrent effect for those who abuse it. personal data. In Islamic law, the use of an OVO digital wallet is allowed because there are benefits to using an OVO digital wallet, namely making it easy for the public to make payment transactions. The suggestions in this study are that people must be careful in using digital wallets by reading the terms and conditions before using digital wallet applications, increasing socialization in the community regarding the importance of personal data protection and the government must unify the law to make clear regulations regarding personal data protection.
