Abstract:
Higher-order thinking skills are the abilities needed in preparing students to face global challenges in the 21st century. This research aims to describe the profile of elementary school teacher knowledge about higher-order thinking skills in mathematics learning. The research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research consisted of 3 elementary school teachers in Palu. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and interviews. The results indicate that not all teachers can interpret higher-order thinking skills well. The teacher's knowledge about the implementation of mathematics learning which is oriented higher-order thinking skills is also still low.
