Penerapan Model Diskursus Multy Representasi : Dampaknya terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis dan Self Eficacy

Abstract:
The Multy Representation Discourse is a learning model that emphasizes students learning in groups and the use of representation. This study aims to determine the influence of the DMR model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and the self-efficacy of students. The research design uses Quasy Experimental Design with a posttest-only control design. The population was all class VIII students at one of the MTs in Krui. The sample number of 50 students consisted of 25 in the experimental class and 25 in the control class taken by the cluster random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova). The results showed that students who learned with the DMR learning model had better concept understanding and self-efficacy skills than students who learned using the direct learning model.
Abstrak:
Diskursus Multy Representasi (DMR) merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan peserta didik untuk belajar berkelompok dan pemanfaatan representasi. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model DMR terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan self efficacy peserta didik. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Quasy Experimental Design dengan posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII pada salah satu MTs di Krui. Jumlah sampel 50 peserta didik terdiri dari 25 di kelas eksperimen dan 25 di kelas kontrol yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Peserta didik yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran DMR memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan self efficacy yang lebih baik dibandingkan peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.
