Abstract

Responsibility, business ethics, and strategic planning are important for MSME sustainability and competitiveness. However, research on these dimensions remains fragmented. This study examines publication trends, research contributions, thematic relationships, and future research directions using a hybrid bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review based on Scopus data. The bibliometric dataset comprises 29 documents, while 15 articles were selected for systematic synthesis. The findings identify strategic planning as a prominent keyword, alongside digital transformation, corporate social responsibility, green innovation, decision-making, and sustainability. The literature synthesis highlights the interconnected roles of responsibility in addressing stakeholder obligations, ethics in guiding business decisions, and strategic planning in translating these considerations into organizational actions. Further empirical research is needed to examine how these dimensions can be integrated to support long-term MSME performance, particularly in emerging economies.
