Maddika: Journal of Islamic Family Law, Volume 7, Number 1 (July 2026), presents a collection of scholarly articles that explore contemporary developments in Islamic family law from normative, comparative, and empirical perspectives. This issue highlights the interaction between Islamic legal principles, Indonesia's plural legal system, human rights, and judicial practice through discussions on women's inheritance rights in legal pluralism, prenuptial agreements as instruments for protecting property rights, the effectiveness of conventional and electronic mediation in Religious Courts, access to justice through itinerant court sessions in marriage validation cases, and the legal implications of explicit (sharih) and implicit (kinayah) expressions in divorce.
