Pengaruh Film Merah Puith (2009) Terhadap Perkembangan Nasionalisme Mahasiswa KPIAngkatan 2019 IAIN Parepare

Abstract

Students are someone who will be the successor of the Indonesian nation in the future with a high spirit of nationalism, so the researchers took the film Merah Putih (2009) as a reference for the spirit of nationalism to be studied. the film Merah Putih (2009) is the first film in the independent trilogy, which tells about the independence of Indonesia when the Dutch military aggression I took place in the heart of the government of the Republic of Indonesia in Central Java which occurred in 1947. The purpose of this study was to determine student attitudes and also to find out how much love for the homeland and nation of the 2019 IAIN Parepare KPI students before and after watching the film Merah Putih (2009). This research is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach, this research uses the theory of Ernest Renan and Otto Bauer. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the respondent's attitude of nationalism after watching the film Merah Putih (2009). So it can be concluded that the film media, especially the film Merah Putih (2009) can be one of the things that have an influence on the attitude or behavior of the audience.
