Procurement Management Strategy for Zinc Ingots Based on LME Price Volatility: Achieving Cost Reduction Targets and Optimizing Operational Performance in the Hot-Dip Galvanizing Industry

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh volatilitas harga Seng di London Metal Exchange (LME) dan strategi manajemen pengadaan Ingot Seng terhadap kinerja operasional perusahaan melalui efisiensi biaya pengadaan di PT Bukaka Teknik Utama. Volatilitas tinggi pada harga Seng global dapat memengaruhi biaya pengadaan bahan baku dan akibatnya memengaruhi efektivitas kinerja operasional. Oleh karena itu, strategi pengadaan yang tepat diperlukan untuk mengendalikan biaya dan menjaga efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 32 responden yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengadaan, produksi, dan operasional perusahaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volatilitas harga Seng LME secara signifikan memengaruhi efisiensi biaya pengadaan dan kinerja operasional perusahaan. Strategi manajemen pengadaan Ingot Seng juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi biaya pengadaan dan kinerja operasional. Lebih lanjut, efisiensi biaya pengadaan secara signifikan memengaruhi kinerja operasional. Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi biaya pengadaan berhasil memediasi pengaruh volatilitas harga Seng LME dan strategi manajemen pengadaan Ingot Seng terhadap kinerja operasional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen risiko harga komoditas dan strategi pengadaan yang efektif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi biaya dan mendukung pencapaian kinerja operasional yang berkelanjutan.
