Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi siswa dan guru terhadap efektivitas penggunaan mentimeter sebagai instrumen asesmen formatif teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian campuran metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi desain eksplanatori berurutan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas X4 SMA Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat Surakarta. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan media Mentimeter sebagai instrumen asesmen formatif pada materi ajar teks laporan observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data secara statistic deskriptif instrument non-tes. Data mengenai pendapat atau tanggapan pada media mentimeter terkumpul melalui angket yang dianalisis statistic deskriptif instrument non tes. Hasil penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa dan guru menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif. Melalui pertanyaan terbuka yang diajukan kepada siswa dan kuesioner penilaian yang ditujukan kepada guru, membuktikan media mentimeter efektif apabila digunakan sebagai instrument asesmen formatif. Hal ini dapat dilihat, skor aktual yang menunjukkan 100 dan skor ideal 136 dengan hasil presentase sebanyak 73,52% yang menunjukkan bahwa itu masuk ke dalam rentang presentase 65% - 85 % menunjukkan efektif.
