Focus and Scope

Palita: Journal of Social-Religion Research is an academic journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Engagement (LP2M) of IAIN Palopo. The journal aims to provide a platform for publishing original research findings, theoretical developments, and academic discussions on the relationship between religion and social life. Palita promotes the advancement of knowledge through critical, methodologically rigorous research that is relevant to the dynamics of contemporary society.

The scope of Palita includes studies on religion and society, religious texts and thought, the sociology of religion, communication, politics, religion and culture, Islamic law, and various socio-religious issues.
