Abstract

Motif penelitian ini yaitu adanya sebuah masalah di dalam pembelajaran seni tari dimana banyak siswa yang lemah dalam apresiasi seni tari. Sehubungan dengan itu, penelitian ini dilakukan agar guru mampu meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi seni tari melalui penerapan Tari Kreasi di sekolah. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas I SDN 480 Maddenuang dengan jumlah 17 orang. Pada pelaksanaannya, peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi seni tari ini dilakukan melalui 4 langkah antaralain perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Proses penilaian pada tahapan tersebut dilakukan dengan melaksanakan tes pada pertemuan ke III setiap siklus untuk melihat peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi seni tari siswa dan keaktifan siswa melalui kegiatan observasi saat tindakan sedang berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatkan skor apresiasi seni siswa dimana pada siklus I yang hanya 66 atau prosentase ketuntasan klasikal sekitar 68% dapat meningkat menjadi 78 dengan prosentase ketuntasan klasikal yang mampu mencapai 100%. Dengan kata lain, kemampuan apresiasi seni tari dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan Tari Kreasi pada siswa kelas I SDN 480 Maddenuang.
