PENGGUNAAN MEDIA BAHAN ALAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK PADA RA RAODHATUL HIDAYAH KOTA PALOPO

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan media bahan alam dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik, khususnya dalam mengenal angka, di RA Raodhatul Hidayah Kota Palopo. Menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), studi ini melibatkan observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mengenal angka. Pada pra-tindakan, rata-rata kemampuan anak adalah 6,5 (24%). Setelah intervensi, terjadi peningkatan pada Siklus I menjadi 7,8 (29%), dan lebih lanjut pada Siklus II mencapai 13,0 (48%). Temuan ini mengonfirmasi hipotesis bahwa penggunaan media bahan alam efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Peningkatan sebesar 24% dari pra-tindakan hingga Siklus II menunjukkan dampak positif dari intervensi yang dilakukan.Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang potensi media bahan alam dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi pendidik dan pemangku kebijakan dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini.
