Articles published in the Journal of Indonesian Islamic Studies are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). With this license, the author retains the copyright and grants permission to anyone to copy, distribute, display, and make adaptations of the article, including creating derivative works, even for commercial purposes, as long as proper attribution is given to the original author and the source of the article.

General Provisions:

  1. Copyright: Authors retain full copyright over their articles. All articles published in the Journal of Indonesian Islamic Studies are original works that are fully owned by the author.
  2. Freedom of Distribution and Adaptation: Users are permitted to download, print, share, and adapt articles published in the Journal of Indonesian Islamic Studies, whether for personal, research, teaching, or commercial purposes, as long as:
    • Users provide clear attribution to the original author.
    • Users include a full quote from the relevant article and link to the CC BY 4.0 license.
  3. Commercial Use: This license also allows the use of the article for commercial purposes, as long as appropriate attribution is provided to the author.
  4. Attribution Obligations: Each use of an article must include the following attribution statement:
    • The author must be clearly stated, along with the source of the article (journal and publication number) and license (CC BY 4.0).
    • Users must include a link to the original article and a Creative Commons license.
  5. Creativity and Openness: The use of articles under the CC BY 4.0 license aims to encourage creativity, openness, and collaboration throughout the academic and practical communities. Authors are also encouraged to expand the use of articles by providing data and research materials that can be accessed by the public.
