Allegations of Research Misconduct

Al-Khwarizmi: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously and is committed to protecting the integrity of the scholarly record. Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship practices, manipulation of research results, and violations of research ethics.

Anyone who suspects research misconduct in a submitted or published manuscript may report it to the editorial office, with supporting evidence where available.

The editorial team will first assess the available evidence and may ask the authors concerned for an explanation. All allegations will be handled fairly, objectively, and confidentially, with respect for the rights of everyone involved. An allegation is not proof of misconduct until it has been properly assessed.

Where necessary, the journal will contact the authors' institutions or other relevant authorities and cooperate with their investigations. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in deciding what action to take.

Depending on the findings, the action may be rejection of a manuscript, a correction, an expression of concern, or retraction of a published article. These steps protect the reliability of the scholarly record and ensure that every case is handled responsibly and transparently.
