Ownership and Management

Al-Khwarizmi: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam is owned and managed by Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan, Universitas Islam Negeri Palopo, Indonesia.

The journal's ownership and management are separate from its editorial decision-making. This protects editorial independence, transparency, and academic integrity. The owner supports the journal with resources and keeps published articles and correction notices accessible, as described in Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections, but does not take part in decisions about individual manuscripts.

The Editor-in-Chief and the editorial board manage the editorial process, including manuscript evaluation, peer review, and publication decisions. They base their work on the journal's scope, quality standards, and publication ethics. Editorial decisions are always made by people, not by AI, as stated in the Policy on the Use of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies.

All editorial decisions are made independently and are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance, using the criteria in Types of Manuscripts. Concerns about research misconduct, authorship disputes, or errors in published articles are handled under Allegations of Research Misconduct, Authorship Criteria, and Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections. Al-Khwarizmi is committed to professional publishing practices and to fair and transparent editorial procedures.
