Since its establishment in 2018, the Pedagogik Journal of Islamic Elementary School has served as a vital resource in the discourse of Islamic elementary education.
2018
Inception & Initial Schedule
The inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1, was published in April 2018. Since then, the journal has maintained a consistent biannual publication schedule in April and October.
2023
Major Journal Redesign
With the release of Volume 6, Number 2, the journal underwent a major redesign to present a fresh and more engaging appearance to its readership.
2024 (June)
OJS System Upgrade
Keeping pace with technological advancements, the journal upgraded its system from Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2 to version 3 in June 2024. While this upgrade affected several page links and their layout, its primary goal was to enhance accessibility, improve management efficiency, and provide a superior experience for both authors and readers.
2025 - Present
Increased Publication Frequency
Entering 2025, the journal has experienced rapid progress. Due to the high volume of high-quality manuscripts received, the journal has decided to increase its publication frequency. Starting in 2025, the Pedagogik Journal of Islamic Elementary School is published three times a year, specifically in January-April, May-August, and September-December.
