Journal History
Since its establishment in 2018, the Pedagogik Journal of Islamic Elementary School has served as a vital resource in the discourse of Islamic elementary education. The inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1, was published in April 2018, and since then, the journal has maintained a consistent biannual publication schedule in April and October.
The journal's trajectory has been marked by several key developments. In 2023, with the release of Volume 6, Number 2, the journal underwent a major redesign to present a fresh and more engaging appearance to its readership. Keeping pace with technological advancements, the journal upgraded its system from Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 2 to version 3 in June 2024. While this upgrade affected several page links and their layout, its primary goal was to enhance accessibility, improve management efficiency, and provide a superior experience for both authors and readers.
Entering 2025, the journal has experienced rapid progress. Due to the high volume of high-quality manuscripts received, the journal has decided to increase its publication frequency. Starting in 2025, the Pedagogik Journal of Islamic Elementary School is published three times a year, specifically in April, August, and December.
