Promoting constructive scholarly dialogue, evidence-based criticism, and the integrity of published research.

Submissions should identify the relevant article by its title and DOI or URL, explain the issue clearly, and provide supporting evidence or references where appropriate. Contributors must disclose relevant financial, professional, personal, or other interests that could influence their comments.

Comments must focus on scholarly issues and must not contain personal attacks, discriminatory language, promotional material, or unsupported allegations. Confidential or personally identifiable information must not be disclosed without an appropriate legal or ethical basis.

✓ Editorial Assessment

The editorial office assesses submitted comments for relevance, clarity, scholarly merit, supporting evidence, and compliance with the journal's publication ethics policies.

Comments should address substantive aspects of the published research, including methodology, data, interpretation, theoretical arguments, conclusions, or presentation of evidence. Where necessary, the responsible editor may consult independent experts. The journal may decline submissions that lack scholarly substance or fail to meet its ethical and editorial requirements.

↩ Author Responses

Authors may be invited to respond to substantive comments concerning their published work. Responses should address the issues raised directly, provide supporting evidence where necessary, and maintain a professional and scholarly tone.

The editorial office may establish a reasonable timeframe for a response. Failure to respond does not prevent the journal from examining a substantiated concern or taking appropriate action to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

☰ Publication of Discussion

Following editorial assessment, IQRO may publish a scholarly comment, an author response, an editorial clarification, or another appropriate notice. Published comments and responses must be clearly identified and linked to the relevant original article.

Depending on the nature and significance of the discussion, submissions may undergo independent peer review or additional editorial assessment. Publication of a comment does not automatically mean that the original article is incorrect or that the journal endorses every statement made by the contributor.

⚠ Concerns Requiring Investigation

Concerns involving potentially unreliable findings, plagiarism, inappropriate authorship, undisclosed conflicts of interest, research misconduct, or other serious ethical issues will be handled in accordance with IQRO's Publication Ethics and relevant editorial policies.

Where necessary, the journal may contact the authors, consult independent experts, or refer the matter to the authors' affiliated institutions. Corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions will be considered when warranted by the evidence.

Documentation and Confidentiality

The editorial office will maintain appropriate records of substantive comments, author responses, expert advice, and editorial decisions. Records will be handled confidentially to the extent reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable legal and ethical obligations.
