The copyright for articles in Al-Amwal is held entirely by the author under a Creative Commons CC BY-SA licence.

  1. The copyright of each article belongs to the author.
  2. Authors retain all rights to their published works, including but not limited to the rights specified on this page.
  3. Authors acknowledge that Al-Amwal: Journal of Islamic Economic Law is the first to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY-SA) licence.
  4. Authors may separately submit their work, arrange for non-exclusive distribution of manuscripts published in this journal in other versions (e.g., submission to the author's institutional repository, publication in a book, etc.), acknowledging that the manuscript was first published in Al-Amwal: Journal of Islamic Economic Law.
  5. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work
