PLAGIARISM POLICY

Al-Amwal: Journal of Islamic Economic Law upholds a strict anti-plagiarism stance. The editorial board enforces clear sanctions for any detected textual similarities in submitted manuscripts. Turnitin is employed to assess originality, with a maximum similarity threshold of 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned for revision.

Plagiarism Levels and Sanctions

  • Minor: Limited textual overlap without significant data or ideas.
    Sanction: Authors receive a warning and must revise with proper citations.
  • Intermediate: Substantial uncredited content from another source.
    Sanction: Manuscript is rejected; authors barred from submission for one year.
  • Severe: Extensive plagiarism involving original findings or concepts.
    Sanction: Manuscript is rejected; authors barred from submission for five years.

All authors share responsibility for the manuscript’s integrity and are equally subject to penalties outlined in the journal’s Copyright Notice.
