Plagiarism Policy

The Editorial Team of Tunas Cendekia: Jurnal Program Studi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini recognizes that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy regarding manuscripts submitted for publication.

Plagiarism is defined as the intentional or unintentional act of obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or academic value by using part or all of another party’s scientific work without proper and adequate acknowledgment of the original source.

Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any borrowed material must be clearly cited and properly distinguished from the original text.

All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) since February 2020.

Plagiarism Levels and Actions

1. Minor plagiarism (copying short phrases without proper citation):
The author will receive a warning and a request to revise the text with proper citations.

2. Major plagiarism (copying substantial parts of another work without proper citation):
The manuscript will be rejected, and the author may be banned from submitting to this journal.

All authors share collective responsibility for the content of their manuscript. If plagiarism is detected, all listed authors will be subject to the same consequences.

If a manuscript is submitted simultaneously to another journal and this is discovered during review or after publication, the same sanctions as major plagiarism will apply.

The editorial board reserves the right to impose additional sanctions in cases not covered by the above provisions.
