Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to Editors).
  • Submission files in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file formats.
  • Where available, URLs for references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; use the font requirements that have been set by the script template; use italics for certain characters instead of underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate point, not at the end as an appendix.
  • The text complies with the style and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines , which can be found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to the peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in theEnsure Blind Review has been followed / guided.

Author Guidelines

General Author Guidelines

Articles must be the result of research or scientific studies, interesting, and insightful.
The topic of the article must be up-to-date, related to Islamic economic law.
The article must contain title, author's name, affiliation, email, abstract, keywords, introduction, review of related literature, research methods, discussion, conclusion, and references.
Ensure that your paper is prepared using the Al-Amwal Template.
Ensure compliance with the journal's governance policy by attaching the AUTHOR STATEMENT and COPYRIGHT NOTICE forms.

Script Preparation Guidelines
Manuscript Structure
  1. Title : The title should be short, bright and informative, but not exceed 12 words. It must be appropriate to the issue being discussed. The article title does not contain any unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written first and then followed by an explanation.
  2. Author's Name and Institutions : The author's name must be accompanied by the author's institution, institutional address, and email address, without academic title or position.
  3. Abstract. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. The abstract is written in several concise paragraphs consisting of background, objectives, research methods, results, and Implication and keywords (3-5 phrases).
  4. Introduction :  The introduction must contain (briefly and sequentially) the general background and literature review (state of the art), the main research problem and research methods. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of writing the article must be stated clearly both in the summary (abstraction) and in the introduction to the manuscript itself.
  5. Method :  To answer research objectives/main problem formulation and ways to present and analyze data materialThe content of method is that the writer applies the research method in the study, and then explains the sources of data, either primary or secondary data, and presents the data analysis used both in library research and field research.
  6. Result and Discussion. This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data.  The research results and the discovery must be the answers, or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the original question or objectives outlined in the Introduction section (what/how)? Do you provide an interpretation scientifically for each of your results or findings presented (why)? Are your results consistent with what other investigators have reported (what else)? Or are there any differences?
  7. Implication :  The implications of scientific research are the consequences or impacts that research results have on knowledge, practice, policy or society in general. These implications may take the form of suggestions for further research, policy recommendations, changes in practice or behavior, or even the development of new technology. In an academic context, the implications of scientific research are often considered an important part of the overall significance of the research. By understanding the implications of research results, researchers can broaden their understanding of how their research can contribute to the advancement of knowledge and society.
  8. References :  The literature in the References contains only the sources referenced or included in the article. The style of citing references in the manuscript uses the endnote style of the American Psychological Association (APA) edition, this is also stated in the NOTES section of the manuscript (This section is not included in the article). Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. Referral sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. Note:

1. The list of bibliographies must be sorted in alphabetical order at least 85% of the references used as sources come from published popular scientific journal articles. the total number of references is at least 30 references

2. It is highly recommended to use reference management software, such as MENDELEY. ZOTERO, etc.
