Pemahaman Orang Tua Tentang Pembentukan Karakter Dan Kebiasaan Positif Anak Di Era Digital: Studi Pada PAUD Qurrata Ainainy Banda Aceh

Perkembangan teknologi digital memberikan tantangan bagi orang tua dalam mendampingi pembentukan karakter dan kebiasaan positif anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemahaman orang tua tentang pembentukan karakter dan kebiasaan positif anak di era digital pada PAUD Qurrata Ainainy Banda Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan 20 orang tua dari anak kelompok Bermain (KB) usia 2–4 tahun yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendampingan dan pembiasaan anak di lingkungan keluarga. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperiksa melalui triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memahami pentingnya pembentukan karakter melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, interaksi, dan pengalaman sehari-hari. Pemahaman tersebut diwujudkan melalui pembiasaan berdoa, mengucapkan salam, menjaga kebersihan, merapikan barang, bersikap santun, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab. Dalam penggunaan teknologi digital, orang tua memahami pentingnya pengawasan konten, pengaturan durasi, dan pendampingan anak. Namun, penerapannya masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu, ketertarikan anak terhadap gawai, dan konsistensi aturan dalam keluarga. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan kemitraan antara keluarga dan sekolah melalui komunikasi dan pembiasaan yang selaras untuk mendukung pembentukan karakter dan kebiasaan positif anak.
