PENDIDIKAN ANAK DAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL DI MEDIA SOSIAL (Studi Literatur Bentuk Kekerasan dan Implikasinya)

Media sosial kini menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan anak-anak dan remaja, menawarkan berbagai manfaat tetapi juga menimbulkan risiko signifikan terkait kekerasan seksual online. Artikel ini melakukan kajian literatur untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual di media sosial dan implikasinya terhadap pendidikan anak. Kekerasan seksual online meliputi perundungan seksual, eksploitasi, dan pelecehan yang terjadi melalui platform digital, dan anak-anak serta remaja sangat rentan terhadap ancaman ini karena kurangnya keterampilan perlindungan yang memadai (Sullivan, 2020). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan seksual di media sosial dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan psikologis anak, termasuk trauma emosional dan masalah kesehatan mental jangka panjang (Jones & Carter, 2021). Pendidikan keselamatan digital yang efektif sangat penting untuk mengurangi risiko ini, dengan Anderson dan Smith (2022) menekankan perlunya program pendidikan yang komprehensif. Namun, banyak kurikulum pendidikan saat ini masih kekurangan materi tentang kekerasan seksual dan keamanan online (Brown & Williams, 2021). Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai masalah kekerasan seksual di media sosial dan merekomendasikan strategi pendidikan yang lebih terintegrasi untuk melindungi anak-anak.
